Knoydart Elopement Photographer

Visiting Knoydart Peninsular for Caroline & Will’s elopement was a magical experience, the tiny village only accessible by a traditional wooden ferry, totally stole my heart. It was a wet day but that didn’t stop this couple having the outdoor ceremony they dreamed of when planning their Scottish elopement. We sheltered from the raindrops in the trees while they made their vows, and explored Camusdarach beach and the surrounding woodlands for their portraits. They brought their adorable dog along with them (one of my favourite things to do at an elopement!) and he was terribly excited to see his humans get married.

Not pictured – my 3 month + 2 day old baby who sheltered from the raindrops in his father’s coat, so we could both be witnesses. Although he spent most of the time snoozing, I think Iggy loved attending his first elopement and seeing his mother at work.  :)

Caroline & Will stayed over at the *gorgeous* Knoydart Hide, a super popular luxury accommodation in the village which I highly recommend trying to book out! It made the perfect place to dry off between photographs, and provided shelter from the downfall for the very important signing of the paperwork.

If you’re planning a Scottish elopement, why not consider this special place? Well off the beaten track, you’re guaranteed privacy and plenty of breathtaking views for your wedding day. :)
