There’s nothing I love more than a wedding at home. This couple celebrated their love in the gardens of Gemma’s parents cottage in Ardleigh, a village near Colchester. It was a completely homegrown wedding, crafted with such love and consideration. Relaxed weddings allow for lots of opportunities to capture happy guests, mingling and playing games together. I really enjoyed capturing this story and being a part of Gemma & Nick’s day. This wedding was really something special – a chilled out vibe, magical light, lots of love and beautiful surroundings. The perfect mix to dream wedding photography.
This was also my first opportunity to experiment with video and I created a fusion slideshow for the couple as a keepsake of their day. They really loved it and I’m delighted to now be offering them alongside my photography. You can see the video below, along with my photo record of the day. Be warned – with so much storytelling to be told, this is an image heavy post. Make yourself a cup of tea, turn up the volume and enjoy.
