Vows made in a circle of 5,000 year old standing stones on a wild Hebridean island. Still pinching myself I got to witness this very special day.. Along with a small number of their friends, Shayne & Jenn travelled 8,000 miles to get married by the ancient stones that captured their heart on their last visit to the Isle of Lewis. It was an emotional ceremony, playing host to Scottish traditions including everyone drinking from the two handled ‘loving cup’ the quaich and having their hands fasted in beautiful ribbons inscribed with well wishes for the couple.
What a dream.. Jenn and Shayne, along with their guests, are some of the most kind-hearted people I’ve met. We all enjoyed a delicious meal together after the celebrations at Lews Castle and chatted as the sun set behind the castle. Thanks for making magic with us on your special day.
