I’m delighted and honoured to be able to call these guys friends. I first met Elize + Steven while they are holidaying in Edinburgh for a pre-wedding shoot. I loved the adventurous spirit they both shared as they hiked up Arthur’s Seat with me, dressed up in bridal gown and suit. Little did I know just over a year later I would be adventuring with them again half way across the world in Singapore to capture their wedding.
The day began early at Elize’s family home for a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, which continued with more family members at the couple’s home. It was beautiful to witness the ancient and sacred ritual taking place in such a warm and friendly environment. Everyone really made me feel welcomed throughout the day which was lovely.
Celebrations took place later in the afternoon at the beautiful Emily Hill. Ice-cream and drinks were enjoyed during the last moments of sunshine on the grounds of the venue. As the sun set Elize, dressed in stunning red, made her bridal entrance with her parents to excited guests. Dinner was then enjoyed under the magical moonlight.
I’m so thankful to everyone I met on the day, but most of all to Elize + Steven. Thank you for letting me be a part of your day and allowing me to visit your beautiful country. It such an incredible experience that I will treasure forever. I feel forward to meeting up with you both again sometime in the future. :)
